Fire-resilient housing · Medford, Oregon
Modular homes, ADUs, condominiums and apartments built to Type II construction standards, the same benchmark demanded by multi-story commercial and institutional buildings.
Type II construction
Every module begins with a precision-engineered light-gauge steel frame: dimensionally exact, non-combustible and engineered to resist the racking, warping and settling that plague wood framing over time.
Where others sheathe walls in OSB or plywood, which are vulnerable to moisture, mold and fire, we specify cementitious sheathing such as ZS2 TechBoard and 2" aircrete panels that are non-combustible, moisture-resistant and rigid from day one.

Non-combustible
ZS2 TechBoard's magnesium oxide cement technology meets Class A fire ratings and resists mold, pests and delamination in harsh climates. Paired with aircrete's lightweight cellular concrete, our wall assemblies deliver thermal performance, acoustic density and fire resilience that conventional framing can't match.

Insurable
Owners have reported 30% to 60% savings on insurance for construction and long-term protection. Others who were told they were uninsurable in a fire-recovery area were able to rebuild and insure their new home.
Every 1" of AAC adds an hour of fire rating, so 2" AAC exterior cladding wraps your home in a two-hour firewall. Contact us and we'll connect you with an insurance agent who knows our structures and materials.

Significantly reduced schedule & site labor
Projects can be completed 50% faster, with up to 90% less on-site labor. This 24-unit apartment building is made of 46 prefabricated modules: it can be built off-site in 8 weeks and set on site in 2.

Attainable ownership
Rogue Modular partners with affordable-housing developers committed to removing the barriers to entry-level homeownership. Developers, contractors and individual buyers now have access to Type II homes, ADUs, condominiums and apartments.
